1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Look Up mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Look Up. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit intentionally false or fabricated sighting reports
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Upload illegal, obscene, or harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

5. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to Look Up, including sighting reports, photos, videos, and community posts ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Look Up a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with operating and improving the Service.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights.

6. Subscriptions

Look Up offers optional paid subscriptions (Observer and Researcher tiers) that provide access to additional features. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) and are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your App Store or Play Store account settings
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Sighting reports will be retained in anonymized form.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, including but not limited to submitting false reports, harassing other users, or engaging in any activity that undermines the integrity of the platform.

8. Disclaimers

Sighting data on Look Up is user-submitted and has not been independently verified as fact. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any sighting reports, user content, or other information available through the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Look Up and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, providing notice through the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
